Obama receives the Secretary General of NATO in the White House

Scheduled to receive U.S. President Barack Obama, Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen at the White House in the ninth of May, according to the American presidency announced late on Monday.

The White House said in a brief statement said Obama and Rasmussen "Sitbahthat in the final preparations for the NATO summit hosted by the President in Chicago on 20 and 21 May."

Officials at the White House announced earlier that the United States will seek to update NATO and strengthen partnerships and determine the details of the withdrawal from Afghanistan during the summit.

The United States hopes to contribute to the summit, which will be held in Chicago, Obama's former stronghold, in promoting public partnerships for the alliance.

NATO and published nearly 130 thousand a majority of Member States at the United Nations are fighting along with 350 thousand Afghan security component in order to support the government of Hamid Karzai in its war against Taliban insurgents.

The Karzai summoned the commander of NATO forces and U.S. Ambassador to Thazirhma that civilian casualties during military operations of NATO strategy, which threatens the treaty he signed with the United States.

Include the treaty relations between the two countries after the withdrawal of NATO forces, led by the United States in 2014.
