17 dead in a fire inside a supermarket in the Philippines

Philippine authorities announced that 17 workers were sleeping in one of the supermarkets in the southern Philippines, Butuan, spent in a fire that came on the building while the person is still missing.

The outcome indicated earlier killed 11 people and 7 missing Wednesday after he put out the fire, but then found six bodies in the rubble.

Survived by three female jumped from a window on the second floor of the building consisting of three layers, according to an official Mario Ppalarka fire on the island of Mindanao (south), told AFP.

She recounted one of the survivors and called Vicky Bilis (21 years), it survived because it was in the bathroom.

She was hit by Bilis, which burns in her arms, "I saw flames outside and went out quickly. Was heavy smoke and high flames."

For its part, survived the working fund Milan Tolo (22 years) when I woke to the sound of "a powerful explosion."

It is known that poor workers sleeping in their place of work in the Philippines with a population of 95 million people live a quarter of one dollar a day.
