The Foundation News Corporation's Rupert Murdoch has sought to buy shares of the station "BSkyB" that were not owned, by about eight billion pounds (13 billion dollars), but Trade Minister Vince Cable has criticized the deal because of the influence of media empire owned by Rupert Murdoch.

It was after that exemption Cable and his ministry of the responsibility for Public Information, and transferred to the Ministry of Culture, Media and Sport.
