Apple did improve the model of its nano-SIM cards, responding to lawsuits and numerous attacks on the part of Nokia. This is public knowledge at the exhibition CTIA, held in New Orleans. There's SIM-card manufacturer Giesecke & Devrient has shown the final version of the chip.
Apple fought with Nokia, Research In Motion and Motorola Mobility in the European Patent Court, finding out what standards of SIM-cards will be used in next-generation smartphones and tablets.
But yesterday, Giesecke & Devrient resolved disputes of experts, presenting a fourth generation "simok", developed by Apple, called "nano-SIM".
Still, Nokia believes that its chip is similar to RIM and Motorola, is perfect, because it has a more convenient size for the gadget. However, G & D slightly modified the design of the proposed kupertinovtsam, adding a small amount of plastic on the edges.
