European demand to improve the situation of prisoners

Condemnation of human rights
He added that it exceeds the demands humanity to reject the ill-treatment against the practice, and expected to increase the momentum of interaction with prisoners even after the strike.

In the same context, the European Commission issued a statement calling on Israel to respect the rights of Palestinian prisoners, and treated according to international law to ensure the provision of treatment to patients because of the strike and allow them to meet their families.

In the meantime, said the Arab Organization for Human Rights The Israeli occupation continues to arrest about 4,700 prisoners in isolation from the legal safeguards guaranteed by the international standards of human rights and international humanitarian law.

She added that in a unique position at the international level, remains the Israeli occupation of the sole authority in the world to legalize forms of torture and inhumane sanctions against the prisoners and detainees, as the detention of half the detainees at least outside the occupied territory to which they belong, and drops them immunity granted to them to ban tried under the Conventions Third and Fourth Geneva.
